About the Human Resources Coordinator Role

Marriott International is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join its team in Makkah. This full-time position is integral to supporting the Human Resources department and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the property.

Role Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing essential administrative support, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a primary point of contact for employees and management regarding HR programs, policies, and guidelines. This role requires strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain filing systems for HR documents.
  • Prepare and type office correspondence using computer applications.
  • Distribute and route incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms to ensure adequate stock.
  • Answer phone calls and accurately record messages for the department.
  • Create and manage new employee personnel files.
  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and maintain the designated application space to be clean, well-maintained, and accessible.
  • Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee and property records, files, and information.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.

Workplace Standards and Conduct

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Protect company assets and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
