About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining efficient HR operations and providing comprehensive support to both employees and management within the organization. The role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain organized filing systems for HR documents.
  • Prepare and type office correspondence using computer systems.
  • Distribute and route incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
  • Order and track Human Resources office supplies and forms.
  • Answer phone calls and accurately record messages.
  • Create new employee personnel files and ensure their proper setup.
  • Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures.
  • Maintain the designated application space, ensuring it is clean, well-maintained, and accessible to individuals with disabilities.
  • Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, including interview documents.

Workplace Conduct and Communication

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Communicate with others using clear and professional language, both verbally and in written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in a relevant administrative or HR support role.
  • No supervisory experience is required for this position.
  • No specific license or certification is required.

Operational Requirements

  • Proficiency in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

Additional Duties

The Human Resources Coordinator will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors to support the overall HR function and operational needs of the property.
