About the Role

Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) is seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to leading cybersecurity initiatives, enhancing the organization's security posture, and ensuring the protection of critical information assets, systems, and digital services.

The Cybersecurity Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with international standards. This role demands a deep understanding of current cybersecurity threats and defenses, alongside strong leadership and analytical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategies, policies, standards, and frameworks.
• Lead and manage cybersecurity programs covering governance, risk management, compliance, and security operations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate security controls.
• Monitor security events, manage incident response, and support cyber resilience initiatives.
• Oversee vulnerability management, conduct security assessments, and manage penetration testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, NCA ECC, and other relevant regulations.
• Manage and optimize SIEM systems, SOC functions, threat detection, and security monitoring.
• Deliver cybersecurity awareness programs and provide expert guidance to employees.
• Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and key performance metrics on cybersecurity status.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 20 years of progressive cybersecurity experience; OR Master's degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience; OR PhD with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).
• Proven experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Management, and Cyber Defense.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and NCA cybersecurity requirements.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, SOC, and various security monitoring solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, application security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and data protection principles.
• Excellent analytical skills, leadership capabilities, stakeholder management proficiency, and strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).
• Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Management, and Cyber Defense.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and NCA cybersecurity requirements.
• Proficiency with SIEM, EDR, SOC, and Security Monitoring Solutions.
• Knowledge of Network Security, Cloud Security, Application Security, IAM, and Data Protection.
• Strong analytical, leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, HCISPP, GIAC Certifications, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Security+, or CySA+ are highly preferred.
