About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse & Integration Senior Manager to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to the hands-on design, development, and optimization of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in this specialized field.

Role Overview and Technical Focus

The Senior Manager will be responsible for the detailed design of processes and integration for extracting, cleansing, transforming, and loading data into the Data Warehouse. This involves leveraging engineered systems and ETL tools such as ODI and Informatica. A critical aspect of this role is the ability to understand overall business requirements and integrate them into the technical design, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity. The position requires expertise in ETL design and integration to extract data from diverse source systems, including on-premise and cloud applications like E-business Suite, Oracle Retail Applications, Oracle Hyperion, CRM, and Taleo.

Key Responsibilities

Develop logical and physical designs for the Data Warehouse, ensuring consistency and integration with existing conceptual, logical, and physical application architectures.
Maintain and communicate standard processes and practices related to the design, development, and implementation of Data Warehouse and BI application solutions.
Promote and encourage the reuse of Data Warehouse solutions across on-premise and cloud applications.
Research and evaluate Data Warehouse, BI, and system integration technologies, products, and solutions, providing recommendations for introduction, phase-out, and retirement.
Define data element requirements, including history, timeliness, and frequency of data.
Support the company’s Cloud Application initiatives and develop integrations for both on-premise and cloud applications.
Conduct comprehensive testing for Data Warehouse and BI solutions, including unit, vendor, component integration, system acceptance, deployment readiness, and user acceptance testing, to ensure conformance to business, functional, and quality requirements.
Design, deploy, and install Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence software and infrastructure in alignment with business requirements and technology evolution.
Perform maintenance activities for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure, such as patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting, to maximize performance.
Execute periodical backups for applications and databases to ensure data and application availability and mitigate the risk of data loss.
Optimize performance for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure by reviewing configurations, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing appropriate actions like database and application tuning.
Ensure high availability of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence applications through strategic actions, including scheduling maintenance and enhancing current solution availability, to minimize unplanned interruptions and sustain partial system failures.
Design and develop automated, complex, and efficient ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) processes to enable Business Intelligence reporting.
Manage data security by designing database and application infrastructure in alignment with security requirements, controlling user access, monitoring compliance, and mitigating risks such as data masking for sensitive information.
Monitor Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure and ETL processes using appropriate tools to ensure the availability of services with accurate data.
Support other business functions with specific reporting needs, such as providing Business Intelligence reporting for the Finance department, by gathering requirements and building Data Warehouse capabilities to enhance data-driven decision-making.
Ensure compliance with data security and integrity policies and procedures through continuous monitoring of database access and other relevant actions.
Create and maintain technical documentation for all systems and servers to support users and for internal reference.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence. Essential skills include strong proficiency in ETL design and development, experience with tools such as ODI and Informatica, and a solid understanding of integrating data from various enterprise applications.
