Global Dimensions is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrician Assessor to join our team in Al Qa, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves critical electrical maintenance and repair work on military equipment, ensuring adherence to stringent technical and operational standards.

Role Summary

The Electrician Assessor performs essential organization, intermediate, and direct support level electrical maintenance, modification, and repair tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining military equipment as prescribed in official Technical Manuals and * Air Force standards, ensuring operational readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a variety of electrical trade functions, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for electric energy generation, distribution, and utilization.
• Provide support to team members in resolving maintenance issues through detailed analysis and troubleshooting.
• Maintain all required government paperwork and files, such as Job Packets, essential for equipment maintenance and repair.
• Test, repair, overhaul, modify, and maintain specialized electrical equipment, including automatic alternator synchronizing equipment, amplifying control units, voltage regulating equipment, generators, switching and control panels, and junction boxes.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other technical specifications.
• Accurately locate and diagnose malfunctions within electrical systems or equipment.
• Perform standard computations related to the load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
• Utilize a range of electrician's hand tools and various measuring and testing instruments.
• Research and requisition necessary materials, and prepare associated documents and reports.
• Maintain and repair all components of building and industrial electrical distribution systems.
• Diagnose system malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment following Technical Manuals and/or Electronic Technical Manuals.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance and repair, preferably within a military or industrial context.

Work Environment and Conditions

The role requires working in challenging environmental conditions, including exposure to dust and high temperatures. The successful candidate must be prepared to endure long hours, various weather conditions, and potentially hazardous environments. This position involves 100% travel to a deployed location.
