The Role of F&B Order Taker

The F&B Order Taker is integral to delivering high-quality food and beverage services to guests. This role involves direct participation in the order taking and order placing processes, ensuring seamless coordination of all service requirements for Room Service. The position requires providing informative and helpful assistance to guests regarding menu selections within a luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly manage the order taking and order placing process for food and beverage services.
• Coordinate all service requests addressed to Room Service efficiently.
• Assist guests by providing clear and helpful information regarding menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all beverage lists, current promotions, and menu offerings.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety and sanitation policies during the handling of food and beverage.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience as an Order Taker or in a similar role is required, preferably within a luxury hotel setting.
• A minimum of 0-1 year of relevant experience is expected for this position.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.

Essential Skills

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with acute attention to detail.
