About the Faculty Position in Radiological Sciences

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a qualified academic professional to join its Radiological Sciences Department. This full-time faculty position is based in Makkah, with opportunities to contribute to teaching and research in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a commitment to academic excellence and community engagement, aligning with the college's mission.

Role Responsibilities

The Faculty Member in Radiological Sciences will be responsible for a range of academic duties, including:

  • Preparing and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
  • Developing curricula and course materials for various learning platforms.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching methodologies and advance knowledge in the field.
  • Designing, assigning, and grading assessments, tests, and examinations.
  • Conducting research and contributing to scholarly publications and academic literature.
  • Participating in institutional meetings, conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Providing academic support and mentorship to students.
  • Contributing to committee work and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A PhD in Radiological Imaging or a related field such as Medical Physics or Radiation Therapy/Treatment. An MSc is the minimum educational requirement.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in professional radiographic practice. Previous teaching experience is required. A track record of published work is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to inspire and engage students, with strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Licensure: Registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is mandatory.
