About the Opportunity
Siemens is seeking a Finance Operations Professional to join its Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products business unit. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, offers a significant opportunity for a Saudi National to lead and manage critical commercial and financial operations.
Role Overview and Contribution
This position is central to ensuring the high performance of all commercial aspects within the Order to Cash (O2C) cycle for the Electrical Products business unit in Saudi Arabia. The role also involves expanding experience into performance controlling and factory operations. As part of Siemens, the professional will contribute to developing advanced engineering technologies that take society further.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial aspects by reviewing and overseeing orders according to general accounting principles and financial reporting guidelines.
- Lead the order management and warehouse team for processing and execution of orders, ensuring completeness of required documentation.
- Handle delivery release, prepare sales invoices with backups, and manage the submission of invoices to customers for acceptance and collection of receivables.
- Oversee all factory operations and commercial activities.
- Manage all month-end close activities, including preparing cost accruals/provisions and ensuring accurate recognition of revenue and profit declarations.
- Support business lines in the monthly and quarterly forecast process related to Order Intake, Net Sales, Gross Margin/Gross Profit, and product business-related provisions/accruals.
- Manage cash collection to ensure timely receipt of customer payments.
- Build sustainable business relationships with all stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate, mitigate, and report product business risks and opportunities.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in finance operations, commercial management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Order to Cash (O2C) processes.
- Familiarity with performance controlling and factory operations aspects.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting guidelines.
Location and Employment Type
This is a full-time employment opportunity. The role is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is specifically open to Saudi Nationals.
