Job Title: Design Specialist

About the Role: The Makkah Chamber announces the opening of applications for the position of Design Specialist, where the successful candidate will prepare and coordinate designs for events and activities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and designing advertisements for Makkah Chamber events in line with the Chamber's visual identity.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the quality of designs before publishing them across various platforms.
  • Coordinating with photography teams to document events in audio and video.
  • Supporting the department responsible for publishing on the Chamber's official accounts with suitable visual materials.
  • Innovating creative promotional designs that contribute to increasing interaction with events.
  • Preparing periodic reports that clarify the visual and interactive impact of designs and photographic materials.
  • Collaborating with the events management to ensure consistency of visual messages with the objectives of each event.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media, Marketing, or any related field.
  • Practical experience in the field of design and advertising for events or institutional campaigns.
  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to work within diverse teams and coordinate with different departments.
  • High accuracy and innovation in preparing promotional designs.

Preferred Certifications:
  • Adobe Certified Professional (Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign).
  • Google Digital Marketing Certificate.
  • Event Management Certification.
  • Power BI / Tableau Certification (additional advantage for data analysis and reporting).
  • ICDL / MOS – Computer Basics and Data Analysis.

Required Skills:
  • Creativity and innovation in promotional designs.
  • Time management and ability to complete tasks under deadline pressure.
  • Analytical thinking to measure the impact of designs on audience interaction.
  • Effective communication skills with different teams.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to diverse event requirements.

  • Proficiency in design tools and ability to develop visual identity for events.
