About the Role

* Moller - Maersk is seeking an HR Associate to join the People Operations Advisory team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah or Makkah, where you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees and leaders regarding HR queries. The role focuses on delivering a positive and supportive experience for all HR interactions, whether online, by phone, or on-site.

Role Context and Purpose

As an HR Associate, you will be integral to the new HR service delivery model, processes, and technology. Your core purpose will be to efficiently resolve HR-related inquiries from employees and managers, ensuring each interaction with HR is effective and results in a positive experience for our people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures, including compensation, benefits, performance management, leave, payroll, HR applications, and other employee lifecycle matters.
  • Respond to employees and managers through various channels such as HR case management systems, phone, email, and live chat.
  • Guide employees and managers in utilizing self-service features within Workday and other HR systems to promote technology adoption.
  • Promote the use of the employee HR Portal by providing guidance on HR knowledge content, including global and local HR policies and how-to guides.
  • Maintain HR data quality and perform necessary transactions within Workday and other HR applications.
  • Collaborate with People Partners and functional specialists to address and resolve complex HR queries.
  • Prepare and manage HR documentation.
  • Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support improvement initiatives aimed at simplifying and standardizing HR processes.
  • Ensure high levels of employee satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness in all HR services.
  • Support the delivery of the HR Cycle with administrative tasks related to onboarding, employee lifecycle events, job moves, and exits.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Knowledge of local labor law is beneficial.
  • Experience working with HR systems, with a preference for Workday and Workday case management.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage conflict and keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive approach to identifying needs, investigating options, seeking solutions, and collaborating with HR colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to be an engaged member of a virtual team.
  • Results-oriented with a low tolerance for delays and deviations.
  • A degree in Human Resources or a similar field, along with knowledge of HR concepts, is a strong advantage.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours based on business needs.

Work Environment

This full-time HR Associate role is part of the People Operations Advisory team, operating within a dynamic and often virtual team setting. The position requires a proactive approach to supporting employees and managers across various HR functions in Jeddah and Makkah.
