Job Description

About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Internal Medicine Registrar to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Internal Medicine department. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and document findings accurately.
  • Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Order and review results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
  • Fulfill all obligations related to patient records.
  • Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare as relevant to their individual cases.

Operational Accountabilities

  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulation.
  • Comply with the mission, vision goals, and practice guidelines in NCC.
  • Actively participate in all NCC Committees and Task Forces as assigned.
  • Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Complete fire safety requirements.
  • Comply with clinical & departmental structure standards, including attendance.

Professional Development and Quality Assurance

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities to ensure Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality Standards and Regulations are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Maintain an evidence-based approach in practice.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate, and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the assigned Section, Department, or Clinic, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, and journal clubs.

Specialty Tasks

  • Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and in accordance with the guidelines of the Saudi Health Council.
  • Undertake additional tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges.

Work Environment

This role is based entirely indoors, accounting for 100% of the work environment.
