About the Role:
The Sr. Paint Maintenance Robotics Engineer plays a vital role in the development and support of our fully automated painting systems within a high-volume automotive manufacturing facility. You will ensure integration and performance of robotic, PLC, and SCADA systems during various painting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation System Design & Programming: Design and implement control strategies for robotic systems; develop PLC logic for paint shop systems.
  • Commissioning and Project Execution: Lead automation commissioning for new installations and upgrades; conduct testing and validation for automation controls.
  • Integration & Data Systems: Support integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems and quality management systems for data capture.
  • Process Monitoring and Optimization: Analyze performance KPIs and implement corrective automation actions.
  • Safety, Quality, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards related to automation systems.
  • Documentation and Training: Develop training modules and documentation for automated systems.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. Familiarity with automation systems, PLCs, and industrial robotics is crucial. Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities are essential.
