Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance operations following safety instructions and quality standards.
• Plan workloads effectively in coordination with service supervisors.
• Provide training and updates to nominated personnel.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or High School in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills in a multi-nationality team.

About The Job
An opportunity has arisen for Technician for Engineering Department to join Jumeirah Group.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and installation to all related plants and equipment.
• Complete work orders, PPMs, CWAs as directed.
• Select correct materials from engineering stores.
• Ensure safe working conditions and report any unsafe conditions to senior colleagues.
• Comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure work areas are left in a safe and tidy condition.
• Read and understand basic drawings.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential: Strong communication skills, Higher Secondary School certificate, adaptability to cultural diversity, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Desired: Experience in luxury hospitality and previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage customer relationships by ensuring satisfaction through proactive communication and quality service.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and respond to call-outs efficiently.
• Ensure equipment safety and identify site risks promptly.
• Execute service visits effectively, adhering to time limits and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and vehicles in excellent condition.
• Provide accurate reports on work performed and engage in regular updates with supervisors.

Requirements:

• ITI/Vocational Certificate course / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Automation) or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Basic IT and digital skills are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Preventive Maintenance and Troubleshooting with a reputed elevator company.
• A valid GCC driving license is a plus.
