Role Overview

Plaza Premium Group is seeking a Manager, Cost & Contracts to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for the comprehensive administration of construction and fitting-out contracts. The Manager will oversee projects related to the renovation of existing and construction of new airport lounges, hotels, F&B outlets, and relevant services across Saudi Arabia, managing duties from pre-contract through to overall project completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties, including the preparation of cost estimates, procurement, tendering processes, tender evaluation, cashflow forecasting, contract administration, variation management, and final account preparation.
  • Participate in cost reviews during the initiation, planning, and execution phases of construction and renovation projects for existing and new airport lounges, hotels, and F&B outlets within the Middle East Region.
  • Work closely with the Projects Team on all Quantity Surveying (QS) related tasks, and liaise and coordinate with consultants and contractors as required.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budget.
  • Manage the taking off from drawings and pricing for cost estimates and tender documents.
  • Attend meetings and conduct site inspections when necessary.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Global Project Director and/or Vice President MEA.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying (QS), or an equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation experience in quantity surveying practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in tender documentation, contract management, estimation, interim payment, cost planning, and cost control.
  • Preferably possess fit-out experience in new build and/or renovation projects.

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of professional practices in pre- and post-contract quantity surveying.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
  • Hands-on experience with general computer applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of the current construction industry and market dynamics.
  • A collaborative team player with a mature and positive working attitude.

Work Environment and Reporting

The Manager, Cost & Contracts will report directly to the Global Project Director and/or Vice President MEA. The role requires a willingness to travel abroad and work overtime as needed to fulfill project requirements.
