About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional massage and body treatment services to guests, ensuring their comfort, safety, and security throughout each session. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing guest needs, addressing contraindications, and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a range of massage and body treatment services to guests, utilizing appropriate props, products, scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) prior to commencing any service.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, and ensure the workstation, treatment room, and drapes are properly arranged and maintained.
• Regularly check with guests during service to promote their comfort, safety, and security.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings related to the Spa.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize all tools and equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room throughout the shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Monitor and adhere to the time schedule for appointments throughout the day.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior by following Marriott International standard operating procedures, including stopping a treatment or service and informing a supervisor/manager.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to the manager, and complete all required safety training and certifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: A Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is required.
• Experience: Candidates must possess at least 1 year of related work experience.
• Licensure: A current State or Regional Massage License is mandatory.
• Skills: Ability to stay updated with current techniques and modalities related to the field of work.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Possession of fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for manipulating objects.
