The Role of Procurement Director

SJ Group is seeking a Procurement Director to join its team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, with operations spanning both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves leading procurement strategies and operations within the company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage and optimize the procurement process from vendor selection to contract negotiation.
• Lead a team to ensure efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage procurement functions effectively.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in procurement.

Work Environment and Location
