About the Production Engineer Role

Napco National is seeking a Production Engineer to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to contribute to manufacturing operations and drive process improvements. The Production Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate and deliver information effectively in a business context, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and comprehensiveness.
• Organize and plan work and project activities to efficiently accomplish tasks and meet both short-term and long-term objectives.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing Principles, including Just In Time (JIT), Six Sigma, Ishikawa, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and other related tools to optimize production processes.
• Operate all steps and activities for required production machines according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or other applicable instructions.
• Demonstrate knowledge in the use of various machines, tools, and labor for product manufacturing, and understand the general process of transforming raw materials into finished goods.
• Apply local, regional, and international occupational health and safety policies, regulations, standards, and procedures.
• Understand and interpret legal requirements, regulations, and internal procedures to protect personnel, property, and prevent market losses.
• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials, work in progress, and finished products using simple to complex lab equipment against performance and standard limits, adhering to engineering/procedural standards to identify and address deviations.
• Systematically monitor and evaluate the entire manufacturing process at Napco to ensure attainment of quality standards and to drive engineering and manufacturing process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• A foundational understanding of manufacturing processes and the transformation of raw materials into finished goods.
• Familiarity with operating various production machines, tools, and labor effectively.
• Ability to interpret and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• A commitment to adhering to occupational health and safety policies and regulations.
• The capacity to understand and interpret legal requirements and internal procedures related to safety and loss prevention.
• Proficiency in inspecting and testing materials and products against established standards.
• A systematic approach to monitoring and evaluating manufacturing processes.
