About the Role

Jobskey Search and Selection is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant for one of its clients in the FMCG / Food Manufacturing Industry. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves managing the complete receivables and collections cycle for major retail and modern trade accounts.

Role Overview

The Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, with a specific focus on key accounts within the hypermarket, supermarket, and major retail chain sectors. The role requires a proactive approach to managing collections, resolving disputes, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, collections, invoicing, cash application, and customer reconciliations.
• Handle key accounts, including hypermarkets, supermarkets, and major retail chains.
• Follow up on overdue payments and resolve invoice disputes, deductions, and short payments.
• Monitor credit limits, customer balances, and aging reports.
• Coordinate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams regarding rebates, promotions, deductions, and commercial claims.
• Support month-end closing activities, AR reporting, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) calculations, and bad debt provisions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and support ERP/AR process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–7 years of experience in AR/Collections, with at least 3 years specifically handling major retail/modern trade accounts.
• Experience within the FMCG, food manufacturing, or consumer goods industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with major retail chains in Saudi Arabia/GCC.
• Strong ERP system proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Experience Level

This role requires candidates to have between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
