About the Role

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Manager (Seafood) to join its operations in Rabigh, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic multinational team dedicated to furthering the group's growth plans.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end seafood production operations. This includes overseeing Shrimp, Salmon, and Multi-Purpose processing lines. The role focuses on ensuring production efficiency, maintaining product quality, ensuring food safety compliance, optimizing yield, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives while consistently meeting business objectives and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations across all seafood processing and packing lines.
  • Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, SFDA regulations, ISO standards, and all food safety requirements.
  • Drive production efficiency, maximize yield, and minimize waste and processing losses.
  • Manage manpower, equipment, and resources effectively to achieve established production targets.
  • Monitor all seafood processing activities, including filleting, trimming, grading, portioning, glazing, freezing, and packaging.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational excellence and product consistency.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production teams to improve performance and technical capability.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and HSE teams to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within seafood production.
  • Strong knowledge of seafood processing technologies, yield management, and cold-chain operations.
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.

Desired Skills and Certifications

  • HACCP certification and knowledge of ISO 22000 are highly desirable.
  • Experience in plant commissioning, SOP development, and continuous improvement initiatives is considered an advantage.
