Role Summary

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its team in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for the comprehensive management of project scope development, scope control, and commercial performance to ensure the achievement of project goals and objectives.

Project Leadership and Oversight

• Mobilize company resources by liaising with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries to form effective project teams.
• Oversee the establishment of the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required project documents.
• Establish program requirements for all project areas and monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
• Collaborate with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements.
• Ensure that the project meets or exceeds established goals within these plans.
• Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through the application of Quality Assurance processes.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Act as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during program execution.
• Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
• Market and secure additional work with the client.
• Discuss required qualifications for key project positions in detail with profit center and department managers.
• Collaborate with office facilities staff to address project space requirements.
• Advise the client and company management of any significant changes to the scope of work, potential cost overruns, or delays.
• Maintain current and timely change orders.
• May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings to support clients.

Operational Planning and Reporting

• Schedule and coordinate project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.
• Develop and distribute a one to two-page project description to all project team members for reference.
• Follow up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
• Work with key project individuals to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
• Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions affecting project cost or schedule.
• Establish weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A broad general technical and business background.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects and effectively interface with clients.
• A hands-on technical approach, including involvement in project designs.
• Proven capability to perform effectively in a management capacity.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management.
