About the Supply Manager Role
Faisal M. Higgi & Associates Co. Ltd. is seeking a full-time Supply Manager to join their team. This on-site position is based in Jeddah, within the Makkah Region. The Supply Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective availability of materials and products.
Key Responsibilities
The Supply Manager will manage end-to-end supply operations, encompassing demand planning, procurement, and inventory control. This includes maintaining consistent client communication, analyzing sales and usage data to forecast demand, setting reorder levels, and collaborating with internal teams to align supply plans with project and operational requirements. The role also involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and pricing, monitoring supplier performance, and resolving delivery or quality issues. Key supply chain KPIs will be tracked, and regular reports will be prepared for management. The Supply Manager will also support process improvements and ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Develop and execute the Supply Department's growth strategy.
- Coordinate with the Ship chandling and procurement departments.
- Lead business development initiatives for the Supply Department.
- Liaise with crews, operators, ship managers, EPC contractors, offshore operators, industrial clients, and government entities.
- Develop key account management programs to increase repeat business and long-term supply contracts.
- Prepare commercial proposals and framework agreements.
- Negotiate major supply contracts.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop supply department personnel, establishing clear performance objectives and conducting reviews.
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused culture and develop succession plans for key positions.
- Oversee RFQ management, vendor sourcing, purchasing, expediting, logistics coordination, delivery execution, documentation, and customer invoicing support.
- Ensure timely delivery of all customer requirements.
- Implement supply chain best practices and SOPs to improve departmental efficiency and responsiveness.
Commercial Development Opportunities
This role involves identifying new business opportunities within marine supplies, offshore supplies, industrial procurement, project cargo support services, and the government, defense, cruise, and yacht sectors. The Supply Manager will establish annual business plans, budgets, and growth targets, aiming to expand market presence across all major Saudi ports and develop regional partnerships and international supplier networks. The objective is to position the company as a preferred procurement and supply partner.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess strong Supply Management and Inventory Management skills, with proven experience in overseeing stock levels, replenishment, and material availability. The ability to understand the broader picture, take ownership, and develop the department across different KSA regions is essential. Proficiency in Demand Planning, including forecasting and data interpretation, is required. Experience in Procurement, encompassing vendor selection, contract negotiation, purchase order management, and supplier performance evaluation, is necessary. Demonstrated analytical skills for data interpretation and optimization are also key.
- Proficiency with ERP or supply chain management systems and strong MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (*, CSCP, CPSM) are an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supply chain, procurement, or inventory management role within shipping, logistics, or ship agency.
- Commitment to ethical practices, teamwork, continuous improvement, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Jeddah and Makkah, within the Makkah Region.
