About the Role

Ecolab is seeking a Territory Manager to join its sales team within the Institutional division. This full-time, outside sales position focuses on providing comprehensive chemical products and solutions to customers in the foodservice and hospitality industries. The role is based in Jeddah and Makkah.

Role Overview

Upon completion of an initial training program, the Territory Manager will be assigned an established territory of customers, including restaurants, hotels, schools, and long-term care facilities. The individual will represent Ecolab, offering recommendations on advanced cleaning and sanitation processes and programs designed to enhance guest experiences and promote cleaner, safer, and healthier environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales within an existing territory of foodservice and hospitality accounts through customer training, regular and emergency service, and sales demonstrations.
  • Prospect and secure new accounts to build Ecolab’s market presence.
  • Analyze customers’ ware washing systems and develop tailored solutions as an expert in cleaning and sanitation processes.
  • Install, repair, and maintain ware washing, laundry, and dispensing equipment and systems, leveraging these services to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure customer facilities are operational with properly trained teams.

Training and Development

The role includes a paid training program that encompasses job shadowing, e-learning modules, structured field activities, and classroom-style training led by subject matter experts. Following training, income potential is linked to sales performance within the assigned market. The position offers a flexible, independent work environment with a company vehicle provided for business and personal use, and opportunities for long-term career advancement in sales, corporate accounts, or leadership roles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 year of outside sales experience.
  • Willingness to be on call during off-hours and for weekend coverage.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • No immigration sponsorship is available.

Physical Requirements and Preferred Qualifications

Candidates must be able to complete pre-employment assessments, including a physical, lift and carry 50 pounds, a color vision test, and a drug screen. Preferred qualifications include previous business-to-business commercial sales experience, industry-related experience in food service, laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, and/or pool and spa, and mechanical problem-solving experience (*, plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
