About Saint-Gobain and the Role

Saint-Gobain Eastern Mediterranean and Middle East is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to managing logistics, customer service, and inventory operations within the region, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

The Warehouse Coordinator's Impact

The Warehouse Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring efficient product movement, managing customer interactions related to orders and deliveries, and supporting production planning. This position involves coordination across various departments to maintain operational flow, achieve sales targets, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle sales calls, enquiries, orders, communication, coordination, and customer queries and complaints to provide quality service and achieve incremental cash sales.
  • Present, develop, and communicate information regarding orders, product requirements, stocks, and product availability status to customers, the sales team, and other departmental personnel.
  • Assist the Customer Service Representative (CSR) at the factory for the preparation of products against confirmed orders placed on the JDE system.
  • Support production planning by providing targets of requirements, priorities, and delivery schedules.
  • Arrange product samples for customers.
  • Process delivery documents for goods shipped to customers and print invoices for all direct delivery transactions.
  • Issue cash receipts, invoices, handle cash, deposit into the bank, post, and reconcile.
  • Maintain records of materials received/delivered, cash invoices, cash deposit slips, cash receipts, and delivery notes.
  • Coordinate with the CSR on changes required or proposed by customers for partial and full deliveries.
  • Manage all aspects of product movement, including excess stocks, slow-moving stocks, near-to-expiry products, new product launches, and product updates.
  • Arrange small package or urgent cargo for internal transfer orders to be delivered by express transport.
  • Verify prices on DAX or issue quotations using CRM after consulting with the line manager, and maintain records of quotations and other submittals.
  • Lead, supervise, and delegate assignments to internal staff at the showroom.
  • Resolve material return issues in a procedural manner.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, customer services, and logistics.
  • Experience in working effectively with customers in a large volume manufacturing industry is desirable.

This is a full-time position based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, requiring active engagement in warehouse and customer service operations.
