About the Technical Office Engineer Role

We are seeking a Technical Office Engineer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Makkah and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a candidate with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on technical office support and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to support project execution and documentation. This includes:

  • Preparing detailed reinforcement drawings and schedules using AutoCAD Structural Detailing (ASD) software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes.
  • Reviewing and verifying structural engineering designs, identifying and resolving clashes in coordination with relevant parties prior to implementation.
  • Developing and updating project schedules using Primavera P6, monitoring the critical path, and preparing weekly progress reports.
  • Conducting accurate quantity surveying for materials such as concrete, rebar, and formwork, and comparing these with contract and approved project quantities.
  • Preparing daily submittals for contractors and clients, and following up on material approvals with the consultant.

Required Qualifications and Experience

This role is suitable for individuals with limited prior experience in a technical office setting.

  • Experience: 0-1 years.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant engineering discipline is expected.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in specific software is essential for this position.

  • AutoCAD Structural Detailing (ASD) for preparing detailed drawings and schedules.
  • Primavera P6 for project scheduling and progress tracking.

Work Location and Type

The position is based in the Makkah region, with work locations in both Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time employment opportunity.
