About the Account Executive, Public Sector Role

Dell is seeking a full-time Account Executive, Public Sector to join our Public Sales Team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to the Direct Sales team, focusing on transforming market opportunities into action by developing and expanding relationships with end-users. The Account Executive serves as the direct link between Dell's comprehensive portfolio of product solutions and satisfied customers within the public sector.

Role Purpose and Customer Engagement

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for cultivating strong customer relationships in the field. A key objective of this position is to ensure an outstanding customer experience for both existing and potential clients, driving engagement and satisfaction across your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of customers’ business operations and their specific solution requirements.
  • Increase Dell Technologies' share of spend across its portfolio, including server, storage, networking, software, security, and led services.
  • Manage assigned territory and accounts, encompassing account planning, sales forecasting, and engaging cross-functional resources.
  • Collaborate with virtual teams to ensure alignment across various organizational units.
  • Engage regularly with decision makers at client facilities to perform primary duties.
  • Provide sales leadership and apply experience to large and complex opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in selling technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling within the public sector.
  • Proven customer management and strategic selling capabilities.
  • A strong aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions address business problems.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior management.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).

Work Environment and Team

This role operates within Dell's Public Sales Team, a part of the broader Direct Sales organization. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves regular engagement with clients at their facilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams to achieve sales objectives.
