About the Ad Ops Specialist Role

Tabby Ads is the retail media business operating within the Tabby marketplace, experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to manage the technical and operational aspects of advertising campaigns. This role is crucial for ensuring campaigns are set up correctly, monitored effectively, and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to campaign management within a fast-scaling environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage advertising campaigns from initiation through to completion in collaboration with the Ad Sales team.
  • Monitor campaign performance closely, ensuring budgets, pacing, targeting, and creative elements remain on track.
  • Analyze campaign data and provide clear, actionable feedback to the sales team and advertisers.
  • Optimize live campaigns to meet advertiser objectives by leveraging data insights.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on campaign specifications, links, targeting, dates, and budgets before launch.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency of marketplace operations and process improvement as the business scales.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in ad operations, digital marketing, marketplace operations, or a related analytics/operations field.
  • A strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to double-check work.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, including solid skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Understanding of key digital marketing metrics such as CTR, CPM, CPC, ROAS, and conversions.
  • Effective communication skills, able to convey information clearly to internal teams without excessive jargon.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with self-serve advertising platforms (*, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok).
  • Exposure to retail media or e-commerce advertising.
  • Agency experience, particularly with FMCG or retail brand campaigns.
  • Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Looker, Metabase, or Tableau.

Work Type and Environment
