About the AH-64E Instructor Pilot Role
V2X Inc. is seeking an experienced AH-64E Instructor Pilot to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive aviation training and evaluation services for both internal personnel and customer crews, adhering to stringent US Army standards.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Instructor Pilot, you will be responsible for executing a range of training programs for the AH-64E aircraft and associated simulation devices. This includes initial ATP integration, continuation training, the Initial Aircraft Qualification Course (AQC), and Aircraft Qualification Training (AQT). You will evaluate crewmembers against the requirements of the US Army Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) and the MNG Modernization Training Plan. Duties encompass delivering academic and hands-on performance training, administering evaluations to ensure aircrew proficiency, and maintaining Individual Aircrew Training Folders (IATF) with accurate training, currency, and readiness entries. Instruction will be provided in classroom settings, aircraft, and flight training devices, covering contact, basic instrument, and basic combat skills training to meet US Army standards.
- Train and evaluate Aviation pilots in the AH-64E aircraft in accordance with the US Army ATM and specific unit ATP guidelines.
- Support the development and execution of an Aviation Aircrew Training Program in accordance with customer guidance.
- Verify and confirm that all required flight training publications are current and complete.
- Conduct and evaluate individual readiness level progression tasks, including instrument flight tasks during day, night, Night Vision System (NVS), Night Vision Goggle (NVG), and Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
- Prepare crewmembers through realistic mission training flight maneuvers under local environmental conditions, including dust landings and weather-specific desert training.
- Provide aircrew proficiency training in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) within and outside controlled airspace under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and/or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) flight rules.
- Attend meetings as required by the customer.
- Recommend aviation instructor pilot and Pilot in Command appointments to customer leadership.
- Attend and provide training and mission planning input to the weekly scheduling meeting based on ATP requirements.
- Act as an ATP mentor within the company standardization and battalion standardization team as needed by the customer, including Master Gunner training and mentorship.
- Provide guidance and mentorship for field exercises at tenant locations.
- Perform IP duties at offsite locations as required by customer needs.
- May be assigned as a project lead to support program goals, including technical writing of aviation documents.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is beneficial.
- Must have been qualified as a Pilot in Command.
- Graduate of the AH-64 Instructor Pilot Course (IPC)/Methods of Instruction (MOI) course at an authorized * Army Aviation Proponent School or an IP equivalency evaluation administered by a standardization instructor pilot (SP) selected by the Directorate of Evaluations and Standardization (DES).
- Qualified on the AH-64E Series Aircraft.
- Minimum of 1500 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 500 flight hours as an Instructor Pilot.
- Minimum of 250 flight hours in NVS/NVG.
- FAA Commercial Pilot certificate required.
- Successfully pass the FAA Class II Flight Physical upon hire and annually thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Master Gunner course qualification is preferred.
- Master Gunner experience at the battalion or brigade level is recommended.
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is recommended.
- Experience in Mission (Attack, Observation, Utility, Multi-Mission) operations is preferred.

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role requires adherence to established guidelines with significant choice in methods for goal and objective execution.
