The Role: Air Conditioning Technician

Frasers Hospitality is seeking a full-time Air Conditioning Technician to join the engineering team at Fraser Suites, Riyadh. In this role, the technician will be responsible for ensuring all hotel equipment, with a primary focus on HVAC and refrigeration systems, is maintained in good repair with minimal downtime. The position involves providing day-to-day maintenance under the direction of engineering management, contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering services for both guests and associates in compliance with Fraser Suites Riyadh's operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, VRV/VRF systems, split and window units, and refrigeration equipment in guest rooms, kitchens, and public areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve AC-related issues across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other hotel facilities.
• Diagnose faults accurately and carry out repair work efficiently and safely, aiming to minimize operational downtime and guest disruption.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance and repair work performed, utilizing the hotel's reporting systems.
• Ensure that all systems operate at optimum performance levels while adhering to established safety, energy efficiency, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist in energy conservation and sustainability initiatives by monitoring system performance and identifying and reporting inefficiencies.
• Ensure full compliance with hotel safety policies, fire and life safety regulations, and relevant local HVAC codes.
• Coordinate effectively with the front office and housekeeping departments to avoid guest inconvenience during scheduled or emergency AC repairs and maintenance.
• Support other engineering team members during emergency situations or large-scale repair projects as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a similar air conditioning technician role, demonstrating excellent technical skills and a strong understanding of various AC systems.
• An enthusiastic approach with a commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring optimal comfort for clients.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team that shares a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
• A hands-on approach, keen attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems.
• Skilled communicator and proactive troubleshooter.
