About the Role

CG Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Appointed Person for a major building project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position, specifically for the night shift, within a leading international contractor engaged in significant construction activities.

Role Overview

The Appointed Person holds a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of all lifting operations on the project. This involves comprehensive oversight of activities conducted by both the Managing Contractor and various subcontractors, ensuring adherence to established safety protocols and project plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall planning, coordination, management, and control of all lifting operations across the project site.
• Ensure that all lifting activities undertaken by the Managing Contractor and subcontractors are properly planned.
• Confirm that all lifting operations are adequately supervised.
• Verify that all lifting activities are executed safely and in strict accordance with the Project Lifting Management Plan.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in lifting operations within large-scale construction projects. A valid Appointed Person training and certification, aligned with BS 7121 Safe Use of Cranes, is mandatory.
