About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking an Assistant Manager for Investment Management to join its team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves a hands-on approach to evaluating, originating, and managing real estate investment opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to identify new prospects, structure transactions, and manage the financial performance of real estate investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting market research and performing rigorous financial due diligence on potential investments.
  • Developing sophisticated financial models to assess the profitability and risks of investment opportunities.
  • Applying expertise in financial modelling, corporate finance, and M&A to build the investment framework.
  • Originating new investment deals and structuring transactions.
  • Managing the financial performance of existing real estate investments.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including project managers, analysts, and associates.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders such as banks, consultants, and legal advisors.
  • Understanding and implementing complex financial structures and deal terms to drive long-term growth.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management, financial modelling, or M&A advisory, preferably within real estate or private equity.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate finance, M&A modelling, and deal structuring, with a focus on real estate.
  • Experience from reputable investment banks (*, Lazard, Rothschild, Jefferies) or large real estate funds (*, Hines, Brookfield, Capital Land) is highly valued.
  • Prior exposure to the GCC region is considered a significant advantage.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong technical expertise in banking or investment management.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, Microsoft Excel, and corporate finance principles.
  • Familiarity with banking terminology and M&A processes.
  • A solid understanding of real estate investment strategies, market trends, and conditions, particularly within the GCC region.
  • Knowledge of portfolio management and investment analysis techniques.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Arabic is a beneficial skill.
