About the Investment Management Manager Role
Qiddiya is seeking an Investment Management professional to join its team in Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves a hands-on approach to evaluating, originating, and managing real estate investment opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to identify new investment prospects, structure transactions, and build the company's investment framework.
Key Responsibilities
The Investment Management Manager will be responsible for:
- Conducting market research and performing rigorous financial due diligence on potential investments.
- Developing sophisticated financial models to assess the profitability and risks of investment opportunities.
- Applying expertise in financial modelling, corporate finance, and M&A to structure transactions.
- Managing the financial performance of real estate investments.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including project managers, analysts, and associates.
- Engaging with external stakeholders such as banks, consultants, and legal advisors.
- Understanding and implementing complex financial structures and deal terms to drive long-term growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- An MBA, CFA, or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience is required.
- Over 7 years of experience in investment management, financial modelling, or M&A advisory, with a preference for real estate or private equity.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate finance, M&A modelling, and deal structuring, with a focus on real estate.
- Experience from boutique investment banks (*, Lazar, Rothschild, Jefferies) or large real estate funds (*, Hines, Brookfield, Capital Land) is highly valued.
- Prior exposure to the GCC region is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Successful candidates will have:
- Strong technical expertise in banking or investment management.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, Excel, and corporate finance.
- Familiarity with banking terminology and M&A processes.
- A strong understanding of real estate investment strategies, trends, and market conditions, particularly within the GCC region.
- Knowledge of portfolio management and investment analysis.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Proficiency in Arabic is considered a plus.
Work Environment
This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Riyadh Province. It is a full-time, hands-on position requiring close collaboration with senior leadership and various internal and external stakeholders. The environment is fast-paced and entrepreneurial.
