About the Assistant Store Manager Role

Apparel Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient store operations. The Assistant Store Manager will provide comprehensive support to the Store Manager in daily activities, driving sales, and promoting customer loyalty programs. This role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure retail staff deliver the highest levels of customer service and possess the necessary skills to maximize sales.
  • Assist the Store Manager in the efficient and profitable operation of the store, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assume full end-to-end store responsibility during the Store Manager's absence.
  • Promote the company's Loyalty Program to enhance customer loyalty and drive repeat sales.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the Store Manager and Area Manager regarding employee performance and product insights.
  • Maintain a fashionable and well-groomed appearance, coupled with up-to-date product knowledge to minimize stock loss.

Operational Management and Standards

  • Implement operating procedures at the store in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure all staff consistently adhere to brand and company policies and procedures.
  • Regularly audit store administration and promptly resolve any identified issues.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards within the store at all times.
  • Ensure constant awareness and vigilance regarding store security measures.
  • Stay informed about new products, trends, and fashion directives to effectively anticipate and respond to customer needs.
  • Stay updated on various brands within the group for effective suggestive selling.

Team Leadership and Support

  • Manage the daily roster, leave requests, and grievances of the retail staff.
  • Contribute to staff development by providing feedback and ensuring skill enhancement for sales maximization.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage daily store operations effectively.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and sales maximization techniques.
  • Physically fit to stand for extended hours and perform heavy lifting as required.
