About the Associate Sales Representative Program
Cisco is advertising potential job opportunities through the Cisco Sales Associates Program (CSAP). This is a 12-month global accelerator program designed to develop high-potential individuals into sales professionals. The program is structured around education, exposure, and experience, providing a clear path for career progression. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, following the initial training period.
Program Structure and Development
The program begins with an immersive Bootcamp and foundational skill-building at the Bedfont Lakes Hub for the first three months. From month three to twelve, participants will complete three rotational assignments at the Bedfont Lakes Hub to gain real-world sales experience, with quarterly competency checkpoints. Following the 12-month program, participants will transition into an Inside Account Executive role in Riyadh, KSA.
Your Role and Impact
During the program, you will train alongside a diverse cohort, building a professional network. The hub environment offers a setting to develop skills through AI customer simulations and mentored activities. You will collaborate with Cisco Associate Solutions Engineers to deliver technical solutions that support business outcomes. Your expertise will expand across Collaboration, Security, Networking, and Cloud technologies. You will learn from industry experts and coaches, utilizing Cisco's technology. Each participant will be paired with a mentor who is a CSAP alumnus. The program aims to equip you with industry-standard certifications and the expertise needed for technical sales opportunities within Cisco's global organization.
AI-First Approach and Career Acceleration
A core component of this program is its AI-First Mandate. As an Associate Sales Representative (ASR) within the Global Sales Enablement & Acceleration team, you will develop strong AI skills by using advanced learning platforms and artificial intelligence for technical solution design and strategic decision-making. This trajectory is designed for rapid career advancement. High-performing individuals can validate their skills through quarterly competency checkpoints and potentially fast-track into quota-carrying roles before the program concludes.
Post-Program Role in Riyadh
Upon successful completion of the 12-month Early In Career program in Bedfont Lakes, you will assume the role of an Inside Account Executive (IAE) within the Global Virtual Sales (GVS) team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this capacity, you will connect customers with Cisco technologies to achieve significant business outcomes. Working in partnership with Solutions Engineers, you will identify new opportunities and cultivate long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- A recent undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline, or equivalent professional experience through apprenticeships or vocational programs, with up to 2 years of professional experience.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of hire without company sponsorship.
- Willingness to relocate to Bedfont Lakes (London) for the duration of the 12-month training period.
Preferred Qualifications
- While Business, STEM, and Management degrees are valued, applicants from non-traditional backgrounds (Liberal Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences) demonstrating strong critical thinking, digital fluency, and creative problem-solving are encouraged. Cognitive diversity is valued in the AI-First approach.
- A socially-native technology enthusiast who utilizes AI tools for prospecting, market analysis, and sales cycle acceleration.
- High emotional intelligence and interpersonal tenacity, with the ability to build high-trust relationships and navigate complex decision-making units.
- Commercial resilience, with the capacity to handle rejection, adapt under pressure, and maintain focus on revenue targets.
- Proficiency in storytelling and negotiation to align client business challenges with Cisco's technological solutions for mutually beneficial outcomes.
