Role Overview: Barista

This full-time Barista position is based at the Calo Cafe in Riyadh. The Barista will work closely with the Cafe Manager, providing essential support for daily operational activities and ensuring all services align with company standards. This role is critical in maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction within the cafe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee beverages strictly adhering to established recipes and quality guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain the functionality of all brewing equipment, reporting any potential issues for timely resolution.
• Engage with customers attentively, taking note of their orders and preferences to provide personalized service.
• Uphold a positive and professional demeanor with all customers, representing Calo's culture and values effectively.
• Ensure the cafe operates efficiently and punctually, consistently meeting internal quality standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, taking control of problematic situations to ensure smooth service.
• Adhere to and enforce all company sanitation regulations and safety standards within the cafe environment.
• Foster a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and coworkers.

Essential Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate for this role will possess strong coffee knowledge to ensure high-quality beverage preparation. Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills are required to effectively engage with customers and maintain a positive atmosphere within the cafe.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of one year of previous experience as a Barista in a cafe setting.
• Must currently be present and residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
