About Boutique Group and The Red Palace

Boutique Group is establishing an ultra-luxury boutique hotel within The Red Palace, a historic landmark in Riyadh. Originally built in 1943, The Red Palace has been reimagined to blend timeless elegance with contemporary sophistication, offering an exclusive experience that reflects Saudi Arabia’s heritage. This full-time Barista role is based in Riyadh.

The Barista Role

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a range of high-quality beverages to guests across the hotel's various dining and service areas. This includes specialty coffee, Saudi coffee, teas, and other non-alcoholic options. The role requires a strong understanding of coffee, precise preparation skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused service approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based coffees, filter coffees, Saudi coffee, teas, and other non-alcoholic beverages using premium ingredients and approved recipes.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the hotel's beverage offerings, including origins, flavor profiles, brewing methods, and presentation standards.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and suggestions to guests to enhance their experience.
• Ensure consistent and precise preparation of all beverages, adhering to standardized recipes, techniques, portion control, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee station, ensuring all equipment and service items are in good condition.
• Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, teas, milk, syrups, garnishes, and related supplies, placing requests as needed.
• Adhere to all applicable safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant / Beverage Manager and the wider Food & Beverage team to optimize workflows and service procedures.

Guest Experience and Brand Alignment

• Deliver exceptional customer service, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and personable manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
• Address guest concerns and feedback professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Contribute to the overall ambiance of the outlet, helping to create a memorable guest experience.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and a welcoming, graceful, and thoughtful demeanor.
• Anticipate guest needs through warm, genuine, and intuitive service, understanding the requirements for "emotional luxury" and discreet service.
• Ensure quality standards are consistently met and never compromised.
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a guest-focused approach in all interactions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Local market experience is considered an asset.
