BIM COORDINATOR (STEEL STRUCTURE)

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking a BIM Coordinator (Steel Structure) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional with 2-5 years of experience in structural BIM coordination, specifically within steel structure projects.

Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed structural BIM models, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and resolving design and clash issues. The role involves supporting the preparation of construction drawings and ensuring compliance with project BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed structural BIM models using Tekla, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines, and resolve design and coordination issues.
• Identify, manage, and resolve clashes to ensure accurate and coordinated BIM models.
• Support the preparation of structural construction/shop drawings and BIM deliverables.
• Ensure BIM models and deliverables comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, and the BIM Execution Plan.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience as a Structural BIM Coordinator.
• Proven experience in steel structure projects is required.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla and Navisworks, with good working knowledge of Revit and ACC.
• Good understanding of structural BIM coordination, clash detection, LOD requirements, and BIM workflows.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a relevant discipline.

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates within a full-time work arrangement. The successful candidate will work within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
