BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Ambatt is seeking a BIM Coordinator to manage and coordinate Building Information Modeling activities across multidisciplinary project teams. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, focusing on optimizing digital project delivery processes.

Role Overview

The BIM Coordinator will oversee BIM workflows, ensure adherence to model standards, and facilitate accurate and timely information exchange among architecture, structural, and MEP stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, designers, and engineers to support project delivery and maintain model quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and update project models.
• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues.
• Prepare model-based documentation for design reviews and construction.
• Support project delivery by optimizing model quality and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Train team members on BIM best practices.
• Support the implementation of new BIM tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital project delivery processes.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency in managing and coordinating BIM activities.
• Experience with BIM workflows and model standards.
• Ability to perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues.
• Strong understanding of information exchange requirements between architecture, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Capability to prepare model-based documentation.
• Experience in training team members on BIM best practices.
• Familiarity with new BIM tools and their implementation.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The BIM Coordinator will work as part of a multidisciplinary project team within Ambatt.
