BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Dar Al Riyadh Consultants is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to manage and coordinate BIM models across various disciplines, ensuring design consistency and compliance with project standards. The role involves working on significant projects and requires a strong understanding of BIM technologies and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure seamless integration and design consistency.
• Perform clash detection, identify coordination issues, and follow up with relevant discipline teams for timely resolution.
• Review BIM models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and established BIM standards.
• Manage model federation, coordination meetings, and clash detection reports throughout the design stages.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), project protocols, naming conventions, and information exchange requirements.
• Coordinate with design engineers, BIM modelers, discipline leads, and project managers to resolve technical and modeling issues.
• Monitor model progress and ensure timely delivery of BIM models and associated documentation.
• Support the implementation of BIM workflows, quality control procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of design experience using BIM.
• Demonstrated experience on mega projects such as airports, railways, infrastructure, high-rise buildings, or mixed-use developments.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360 / ACC.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 for integration with 4D BIM.
• Understanding of cost control systems for 5D BIM integration.
• Deep understanding of ISO 19650 and other relevant BIM standards.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and operates on a full-time basis, contributing to large-scale projects within a professional consulting environment.
