About the Business Analyst Role

Roche Pharma Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Analyst to join its Finance department in Riyadh. This full-time position will serve as a key contributor to data-driven decision-making, bridging complex data analysis with strategic business execution. The role involves integrating internal metrics with external market intelligence and leading market research initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Generate insights by combining internal data (Sales, CRM) with external market intelligence (epidemiological, macroeconomic) to develop interactive dashboards and strategic recommendations.
• Establish a competitive intelligence framework to monitor industry shifts and provide competitor briefings to disease area teams.
• Design and coordinate market research projects, manage external vendors, and optimize secondary market data structures.
• Collaborate with therapeutic business units and Finance to incorporate data-backed assumptions into forecasting, launch planning, and business cycles.
• Ensure all data, insight generation, and research practices comply with Saudi regulations and Roche global policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is considered a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Market Research Specialist.
• Experience within the Saudi Arabian pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry is preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Full professional proficiency in both English and Arabic.
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI/Tableau).
• Hands-on experience with qualitative and quantitative market research.
• Experience using generative AI tools for data synthesis.
• Strong conceptual thinking abilities.
• Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
• A proactive, self-starter mindset.
