The Role: Business Development Manager
UpGrad International is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is designed for a high-performing business development professional with a proven ability to identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive revenue within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sustainable growth across Saudi Arabia.
- Identify, qualify, and engage prospective clients and strategic partners through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, government entities, and key stakeholders.
- Travel extensively across Riyadh and other cities to meet clients, develop partnerships, and achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements.
- Lead commercial negotiations and manage the end-to-end partnership lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, ensuring exceptional stakeholder engagement and service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of business initiatives.
- Support strategic initiatives, including local program recognition, lending partnerships, industry events, and other market development activities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, business pipelines, and performance reports.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Strategic Partnerships, or Account Management.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and managing complex B2B relationships.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
