About the Role
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is seeking a Business & Operations Senior Manager to join its Inverto team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for driving operational excellence and supporting regional growth within the Middle East. The role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and offers a significant opportunity to contribute to Inverto's strategic objectives and operational effectiveness.
Role Overview and Objectives
The Business & Operations Senior Manager will be instrumental in operationalizing Inverto’s regional growth agenda across the Middle East. This involves leading key commercial, people, financial, and operational processes. The role serves as a strategic partner to Inverto leadership, ensuring transparency in business development, enabling strong go-to-market execution, and supporting informed decision-making through robust performance and financial management. A core focus is shaping and sustaining talent development, fostering a high-performing culture, and optimizing resource allocation. The position also ensures operational excellence by strengthening cross-functional collaboration with BCG Core and Inverto EMESA, maintaining reliable data flow, and ensuring compliance with governance and internal standards. Oversight of local office operations and coordination of shared services and marketing initiatives are also key aspects, all while ensuring alignment between BCG core and Inverto requirements within global guardrails.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Management and Go-to-Market Support: Partner with leadership to operationalize the growth plan, translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, and ensure effective execution. Liaise with the Business Excellence team to maintain transparency in the BD pipeline, including tool management and data accuracy. Enable commercial success by creating visibility into local platforms and providing actionable steering information to senior stakeholders.
- People and Talent Management: Drive optimal team deployment and resource allocation in collaboration with the EMESA team, ensuring sustained delivery capacity. Shape the Middle East hiring strategy to attract and retain top consulting talent. Coordinate professional development initiatives, including career development, training, and retention. Lead local initiatives to strengthen team cohesion and organizational culture. Ensure smooth HR operations and benefits implementation. Support the Teaming process to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Financial Planning and Performance Management: Steer annual strategic and financial planning processes in collaboration with Finance teams. Ensure rigorous budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, translating data into insights for leadership. Liaise with Finance teams to ensure accurate cost accounting and P&L management. Support Commercial Finance in maintaining transparency of the project portfolio for performance and risk management.
- Collaboration and Data Flow: Maintain strong collaboration with BCG Core and Inverto EMESA teams to enhance cross-functional processes and ensure smooth operational integration. Ensure reliable information and data flow between Inverto Middle East and Inverto EMESA, overseeing non-automated processes and adhering to data governance standards.
- Risk Management and Compliance Coordination: Support governance, risk management, and compliance efforts by ensuring alignment with EMESA and BCG Core requirements. Proactively identify improvement areas. Ensure compliance with legal standards and internal policies, implementing effective local controls and maintaining transparency on regulatory updates. Establish processes to systematically gather and synthesize information on relevant compliance regulations.
- Local Coordination and Office Enablement: Oversee day-to-day office operations for the Inverto team and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate shared services and functions with BCG to optimize processes. Drive local marketing initiatives and ensure consistent execution of campaigns in alignment with global teams, maintaining a unified brand presence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with an above-average grade.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in business operations.
- Confident presence in an international environment.
- Business fluency in English.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
