About the Role

Leylaty Group is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Wedding Cake Artist to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves specializing in the design and crafting of custom wedding cakes that align with client visions and the brand's high standards. The position requires a blend of artistic skill and technical baking expertise to produce elegant, bespoke creations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and create bespoke wedding cakes tailored to individual client themes, styles, and preferences.
• Decorate cakes using advanced techniques, including fondant sculpting, hand-painting, sugar flowers, edible lace, piping, airbrushing, and multi-tier stacking.
• Develop mood boards or sketches for client approval prior to production, as required by workflow.
• Stay informed about current trends in cake design, wedding aesthetics, and seasonal themes to ensure contemporary offerings.

Cake Production and Quality Assurance

• Bake high-quality cake layers and prepare various fillings and frostings with consistent quality.
• Assemble multi-tier cakes, ensuring structural integrity and visual appeal for each creation.
• Manage production timelines effectively to ensure all cakes are completed and delivered on schedule.

Hygiene and Safety Standards

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in strict adherence to food safety standards.
• Sanitize all tools, workstations, and equipment thoroughly after each use.
• Handle food ingredients properly, paying close attention to potential allergies and dietary preferences when applicable.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cake artistry or a related field.
• A strong portfolio showcasing advanced cake decorating skills and a range of design capabilities.
• Culinary or pastry arts certification is considered a plus, though not mandatory.
