About the Group Product Manager Role

Almarai is seeking a Group Product Manager to oversee the development and growth of a designated product portfolio within its International business. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role is instrumental in shaping the strategic vision for the product portfolio and ensuring the execution of annual plans through effective marketing strategies.

Role Purpose and Strategic Contribution

The primary purpose of this role is to manage the lifecycle of existing products and drive new product development initiatives. The Group Product Manager will be responsible for establishing and achieving key performance indicators for the portfolio, including market share, gross margin, and brand equity. This involves developing comprehensive marketing support and human resource plans to ensure cross-departmental alignment and resource availability for plan realization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the establishment, management, and achievement of portfolio key performance indicators such as Market Share, Gross Margin, Awareness, Trial, Equity, and Image attributes.
• Develop marketing support and human resource plans for the portfolio to secure necessary interdepartmental resources.
• Lead the Annual Marketing Plan, Annual Promotional Plan, and Annual Projects Schedule processes.
• Oversee the portfolio’s strategic New Product Development (NPD) process and contribute to the 5-Year Plan.
• Drive portfolio insights through consumer attitude and behavioral studies.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing field.
• 7-10 years of experience in brand management.
• A proven track record in building brands and launching new products.
• Experience and knowledge in briefing and research design.

• Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and presentation.
• The ability to work effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders is critical for success in this role.
