About the Chief Revenue Officer Role

Salt is supporting a fast-growing digital transformation and technology services organization in its search for a Chief Revenue Officer to spearhead commercial growth in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This senior leadership position is a full-time opportunity for an accomplished executive with over 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue strategy, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and overall commercial performance.

Core Responsibilities

The Chief Revenue Officer will develop and execute a clear revenue strategy aligned with the organization’s long-term growth objectives. Key responsibilities include identifying new markets and priority sectors across Saudi Arabia and the wider region, and defining and implementing go-to-market plans for the company’s digital consulting and technology services portfolio. This role involves leading the pursuit of major enterprise and public-sector opportunities, building trusted relationships with C-level executives and government stakeholders, and driving account-based sales strategies focused on large, complex engagements. The CRO will also take an active role in major bids, contract negotiations, and expanding existing strategic accounts while developing new client relationships and routes to market. Building and strengthening partnerships with technology vendors and other ecosystem partners is also a key function. The role requires maintaining strong oversight of pipeline coverage, conversion rates, sales cycles, margins, and forecasting, while working closely with delivery, consulting, and pre-sales teams to ensure client commitments are met.

Leadership and Team Development

A significant aspect of this role involves building, leading, and developing a high-performing commercial organization. This includes establishing clear objectives, KPIs, incentive structures, and performance expectations. The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for coaching senior sales leaders and developing succession plans for critical commercial roles. Additionally, the role requires representing the organization at industry events and executive forums.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Extensive experience in senior commercial, revenue, or sales leadership roles within technology services, digital consulting, IT services, or a related sector.
  • A proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth and winning complex enterprise engagements.
  • Strong experience leading large accounts, business units, or substantial commercial portfolios.
  • Previous responsibility for P&L, revenue, margin management, and commercial forecasting.
  • Deep knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and an established network of senior enterprise and government stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of cloud, artificial intelligence, data and analytics, cybersecurity, enterprise software, and digital transformation services.
  • Experience developing strategic alliances with global technology vendors, channel partners, and systems integrators.
  • Strong commercial judgment, financial literacy, and business acumen.
  • The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex strategic negotiations.
  • Demonstrable experience building and managing sizeable sales teams.
