Clinical Application Specialist Point of Care & Blood Gas

About the Role

Radiometer is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist for Point of Care & Blood Gas solutions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing clinical, technical, and application support for Radiometer solutions throughout the customer journey, from pre-sales engagement to post-go-live follow-up. The specialist will support business growth by strengthening customer confidence and demonstrating clinical value.

Product Scope

The role covers Radiometer Diagnostics solutions, including:

• Blood Gas Analyzers: ABL90 FLEX, ABL90 FLEX PLUS, ABL800
• Transcutaneous Monitoring: TCM
• Immunoassay: AQT
• Sampling Devices: Syringes and capillaries
• Data Management System: AQURE Middleware

Key Responsibilities

• Support the sales team during customer meetings, product demonstrations, evaluations, and trials.
• Present Radiometer solutions, clinical value, and technical differentiation to customers.
• Deliver structured training on product operation, maintenance, sampling, workflow usage, and clinical interpretation.
• Support customers during installation verification, validation, and go-live preparation, ensuring compliance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and troubleshoot application-related issues, including instrument, sampling, user error, middleware, and workflow challenges.
• Conduct follow-up visits or calls after installation and go-live to review system performance and gather feedback.
• Lead or support product application and marketing activities within the region.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires the ability to assess customer knowledge, deliver effective training, and perform root cause analysis for technical issues. Strong collaboration skills are essential for working with sales, service, IT, and business teams.

Key Stakeholders

This role involves interaction with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful customer adoption and satisfaction.

• Internal: Sales Team, Business Managers, Service Team, IT Team, Marketing Team, Regional Leadership, Cross-functional Support Teams.
• External: Laboratory Managers, Clinicians, End Users, Biomedical Teams, Hospital IT Teams, Tender and Contract Departments, Key Decision Makers in major accounts.

Success Measures

Success in this role will be measured by factors such as successful validation and customer sign-off, high customer satisfaction, reduction in user errors, fast and effective issue resolution, and minimized customer downtime. Contribution to customer retention and account growth, alongside strong collaboration with internal teams, is also key.
