The Role: COM & SCADA Technician

CAMCO is seeking a COM & SCADA Technician to execute preventive and corrective maintenance of COM & SCADA equipment. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires adherence to relevant regulations, industry practices, and international benchmarks. The role involves analyzing disruptions, implementing preventive measures, and troubleshooting systems in collaboration with supervisors and external providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, including repairs of systems covered by the maintenance section, following instructions from superior personnel.
• Read repair manuals and implement safe work methodologies.
• Conduct tasks according to work schedules and periodic inspection plans (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly).
• Prepare tools and materials required for maintenance activities.
• Prepare failure documentation and submit it to superiors through the CMMS.
• Monitor commissioning, testing, and trial operation activities of COM & SCADA equipment, reporting recurring defects and disruptions to the concerned Shift Supervisor / Engineer.
• Monitor and maintain COM & SCADA interface and integration with other disciplines.
• Operate special tools and measuring devices necessary for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Perform maintenance activities requiring work at height, on track, in stations, and depots, ensuring safety-critical communication protocols and required safety rules, regulations, and procedures are followed.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by superiors.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a large, automated metro network environment, collaborating with a diverse team of over 3,000 employees.
