It operates as a joint venture between Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP), and the Events Investment Fund (EIF). The company is seeking a Conference Producer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing and managing high-level industry conference programs for Tahaluf's portfolio of large-scale events.

Core Conference Production Responsibilities

The Conference Producer is responsible for the comprehensive development and execution of conference programs. Key duties include:

• Producing high-level, relevant industry conference programs.
• Liaising with key professionals, institutions, and companies during program production.
• Engaging with recommended speakers and confirming their attendance.
• Ensuring the speaker database is updated with current and accurate lists and files for event management.
• Preparing and communicating creative brief documents to the Marketing team.
• Assisting in providing leads to the sponsorship team and attending sales meetings as appropriate.
• Mentoring other conference producers within the team.
• Conducting post-show analysis of events, including job title analysis.

Market Research and Industry Engagement

A significant part of this role involves active market research and fostering industry connections to enhance conference content and offerings:

• Effectively researching topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
• Developing new conference ideas and program content through meetings and tele-research with key experts.
• Collaborating with the Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio.
• Identifying key opinion leaders, institutions, and companies related to events.
• Maintaining existing relationships and building new ones to develop conference topics and secure speakers.
• Exploring additional add-ons and strategies for attracting more delegates, such as workshops, poster sessions, or partnering with associations.

Speaker and Delegate Liaison

The role includes direct interaction and support for speakers and attendees, particularly during events:

• Liaising and networking with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates on-site to maintain customer service standards, resolve queries, and gather feedback.
• Assisting with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event, which may involve longer working hours.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in conference production.

Required Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential and desirable skills:

• Essential: Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, commercial awareness, experience in a research-based role, strong copywriting skills, and brand and market awareness.
• Desirable: Related industry or event knowledge in the investment and startup ecosystem, gaming esports, or security sectors.
