The Role: Senior Conference Producer, Kingdom of Gaming
Tahaluf is seeking a Senior Conference Producer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and is focused on Kingdom of Gaming, the region’s prominent gaming marketplace. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the industry, confidently engage with expert speakers globally, and manage event logistics with meticulous organizational skills. A background in technology or gaming events is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-level, relevant industry conference programmes.
- Liaise with key professionals, institutions, and companies in the production of conference programmes.
- Engage with recommended speakers and confirm their attendance.
- Ensure the speaker database is updated to provide current and accurate speaker lists and files for event management.
- Prepare and communicate creative brief documents to the Marketing team.
- Assist in providing leads to the sponsorship team and attend sales meetings as appropriate.
- Mentor other conference producers within the team.
- Conduct a post-show analysis of the event, including job title analysis.
- Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.
- Develop new conference ideas and programme content through meetings and tele-research with key experts.
- Collaborate with the Exhibition Director and other sales team members to generate ideas for enhancing the conference portfolio.
- Identify key opinion leaders, institutions, and companies related to the event.
- Maintain existing relationships and build new ones to develop conference topics and secure speakers.
- Identify additional add-ons and other methods for attracting more delegates, such as workshops or partnering with associations.
- Assist with onsite duties as required for the duration of the event, which may involve longer working hours.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive proven experience in conference production, with a focus on the tech or gaming sectors.
- Demonstrable experience in successfully delivering conferences within large-scale events, managing conference tracks and budgets.
- Good understanding of and experience in the KSA market, ideally with exposure to government entities.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments by maintaining a solutions-focused mindset and delivering results under pressure.
- Passion for driving continuous improvement with a proven track record of enhancing processes and successfully implementing new initiatives.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in a research-based role.
- Sales experience, including creating proposals, pitching ideas, and closing proposals.
- Journalism skills, including copywriting and editing.
