AtkinsRéalis is seeking a dedicated Contracts Manager to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to overseeing the contractual and commercial aspects of significant road and infrastructure projects, requiring 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive management of contracts, ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory standards across all project phases. This position involves handling claims and variations, and providing essential support to project teams to facilitate timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer project contracts effectively.
  • Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and overall financial performance.
  • Prepare and review claims, variations, and change orders.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes.
  • Prepare reports on commercial performance and contractual issues for senior management.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and accurate financial reporting.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in contracts management, specifically within road and infrastructure projects. A strong understanding of contractual law, regulatory frameworks, and financial management in a project context is essential. The role requires proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex contractual relationships.
