The Role of Copywriter

Mawj Marketing is seeking a Copywriter to develop strong, clear, and persuasive content. This full-time position involves creating copy for various platforms, including social media, advertising campaigns, websites, presentations, and general brand communications. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and a strong understanding of Saudi audiences, marketing principles, branding, consumer behavior, and performance advertising, with the ability to adapt tone across different brands and industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Write copy in both Arabic and English for social media, advertisements, campaigns, websites, and other marketing materials.
• Develop headlines, hooks, captions, calls-to-action (CTAs), slogans, and campaign messages.
• Create short-form video scripts for platforms such as Reels, TikTok, and various ad formats.
• Adjust tone of voice to align with different brands and their specific requirements.
• Produce performance-focused copy designed to generate leads, bookings, registrations, and sales.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and media buyers on various projects.
• Manage multiple brands and deadlines concurrently.
• Utilize AI tools for research, ideation, and to enhance content production efficiency.

Required Experience and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in copywriting or a related field.
• Demonstrated understanding of Saudi audiences, marketing, branding, consumer behavior, and performance advertising.
• Ability to adapt writing style and tone across diverse brands and industries.
• Proficiency in writing compelling copy in both Arabic and English.
• Experience with AI tools for content creation and research is beneficial.

Portfolio Requirements

Candidates are required to submit a portfolio or writing samples. These should include examples of Arabic copy, social media content, campaign work, advertising copy, and demonstrate the ability to adapt to different brand tones.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic marketing and branding agency setting.
